Brian is the founder of EPS and has trained over 400 professional athletes over a 22-year career, ranging from NFL, NHL, AHL, MLB, and thousands of elite college and high school athletes. 

Jess Coyle

Director of Adult Performance Training/ Strength + Conditioning Coach

Jessica Coyle graduated from Curry College with a B.A. In psychology. While attending Curry, Jess was a four-year member of the softball team. Jess earned awards such as two-year team captain, most improved player and the Paula C. Martin award for dedication determination and drive. Jess received a Functional Strength Coach Certification through Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning and a Health and Wellness Exercise Nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition. 

Bailey Tangey

Strength + Conditioning Coach

Bailey graduated in May 2017 with a BS in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Performance from Springfield College graduating Magna Cum Laude. After completing his internship at EPS in the spring of 2017, Bailey joined the staff full time. 

Dan Gluck

Strength + Conditioning Coach

Dan Gluck graduated from University of New Hampshire with a BS in Athletic Training. While attending UNH he was a 4 year lacrosse player and named an MCLA scholar athlete his last 2 years as well as first team all-conference. Dan Interned with Harvard strength and conditioning in the Spring of 2018 working with over 35 different teams. Dan joined Edge Performance Systems in the summer of 2018 and has enjoyed working with a wide variety of athletes at EPS. Dan works with high school, college and professional athletes. Dan is a certified strength and conditioning coach and a certified athletic trainer. In Dan’s free time he enjoys playing in his Men’s lacrosse and hockey leagues and having a good meal with friends and family.

Brandon Smith

Strength + Conditioning Coach

Brandon Smith is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S) bringing over 20 years of strength training experience to Edge Performance Systems. Brandon started his career as a member of the Strength & Conditioning staff with the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians from 1999-2005. After his time in MLB, Brandon served as Director of Sports Performance for Velocity Sports Performance in Sudbury, Ma, learning from Loren Seagrave, one of the industry’s best and most respected sprint and speed coaches. While at Velocity Sports Performance, Brandon refined his skills while working with hundreds of youth athletes, teaching sprint mechanics, speed building, weight room technique and the value of proper nutrition and recovery. Brandon has trained and developed athletes from: MLB, MiLB, NFL, PGA, LPGA, NCAA D1 as well as amateur programs such as FC Stars Soccer, Boston Jr Bruins, Lawrence Academy Football and Akadema Braves Baseball. Brandon enjoys the company of his wife Loreal and Daughter Avery. When not in the weight room you will undoubtedly find Brandon on the golf course or playing guitar, still trying to become a Rock Star!

Owen Campbell

Strength + Conditioning Coach

OC graduated in May 2020 with a BS in Health and Human Physiology from Skidmore College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During his time at Skidmore, he played four years of NCAA Div. 3 ice hockey, where he was named a 3x AHCA Academic All-American. He also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Intern with the other sports teams on campus. Before he completed an internship at EPS in the summer of 2019 and joined us full-time in June 2020, OC was an EPS Athlete for 13 years. OC is also a published scientific author in the Journal of Exercise & Nutrition.


Brian Chaput

Brian comes to EPS after pitching professionally in Independent baseball. The tall LHP played collegiately at Eastern Connecticut State University and Quinsigamond C.C. The past few years, Brian has been coaching travel baseball most recently with the New England Ruffnecks. Brian will be the head coach of the 14u team in 2017. In 2016, his 14U Ruffnecks recorded an incredible 55-7 record including being crowned CABA World Series champions.

Eric Chase

Eric was the pitching coach at Needham High School where he was part of the 2018 State Championship team. Currently, Eric teaches adapted physical education at Cambridge Rindge and Latin. He is a coach with the New England Ruffnecks, serving as the pitching coach for their 13u and 15u teams.


John Pallof

John is a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in the treatment of orthipedic and sports related injury and dysfunction. John is a certified OMT, board certified OCS, and a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. John has years of experience with MLB/NHL players. 

Richard Sheehan

Richard is a licensed Physical Therapist focusing on orthopedics and sports medicine. He is level 1 certified by the Titleist Performance Institute. He is focused on using a complete biomechanical approach, unlike the singularity approach of treating a particular diagnosis. 

Michael Coyne

Michael enjoys working with all patients of different ages and backgrounds and has worked with individuals from the ages of 4 to 97. He uses a variety of treatment approaches to help you reach your goals. He is heavily influenced from coursework taken from both the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) and the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He is currently working towards advanced certifications through both of these institutes. Additionally, he has a particular interest in pain science education and helping people understand their pain.

Mike Murray

Strength + Conditioning Coach

Mike graduated in May 2018 with a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While attending UMASS, he interned under the Athletic Training staff with the varsity athletics and worked at numerous Physical Therapy clinics. After graduating, Mike became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S) and joined Edge Performance Systems in the summer of 2020."
